My Dear Senior Vice President, Vice President, Executive Committee Members, Former Presidents, and the members,

I am sincerely grateful for the trust you have placed in me by assigning me the responsibility that I am deeply honored to receive. I pledge to fulfill this responsibility to the best of my abilities, utilizing all my skills and seeking continuous guidance combined from my Executive Committee, Former Presidents, Senior Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents, and Senior Members. Together, we will strive to enhance it by consistently seeking guidance from individuals like Mr. Haji Khan Munawar Khan, founder of the Sukkur Chamber, who along with the Mr. Khalid Mahmood Khan, established this chamber in 1962 to amplify the voice of Sukkur’s business community and safeguard our legitimate business interests. They dedicated their entire lives to this cause, continuing this mission, has illuminated the name of this chamber throughout Pakistan. We shall continue this legacy.

Under the capable leadership of our Patron, Mr. Waqar Mahmood Khan, I will work alongside all our members to address the issues faced by Sukkur’s businessmen with full dedication. I hope you will support me in achieving these goals. Together, we shall uphold the name of Sukkur Chamber as one of Pakistan’s premier chambers, especially honoring the efforts of Former Presidents, Office Bearers, and Senior Members who have contributed significantly to its prominence.

Furthermore, we will collectively strive to resolve issues related to peace and security, law & order, taxes, municipal, industrial zones, traffic, and other civic matters. Last year, under the leadership of Mr. Bilal Waqar Khan & Mr. Aamir Ali Khan Ghouri, Sukkur Chamber showcased exemplary performance, setting a standard that I aim to maintain and elevate. Achieving this will be a significant challenge, but we will exert all efforts towards it.

I commend the staff of the chamber for their tireless efforts in ensuring the chamber’s effectiveness.

Personally, I have served as a member of the executive committee since last year and have learned from our senior colleagues. Inshallah, we will pursue the proposals to the Federal, Provincial and Local governments for the development of Sukkur city, including the completion of projects like the Export Processing Zone, Special Economic Zone, Dry Port, Vocational Training Institutes, Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway, Construction of New Bridge from Bundar Road to Olpers Factory, International Operations from Sukkur Airport, Establishment of Engineering University and other developmental projects.

Additionally, the Chamber’s doors are always open for you to approach anytime with your concerns, suggestions, or solutions.

I am sincerely thankful to all of you and I am deeply honored by the respect you have shown me.

It is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our founding members and past leaders particularly Mr. Haji Khan Munawar Khan and Mr. Khalid Mehmood Khan and our current Patron Mr. Waqar Mehmood Khan who have laid a solid foundation for us to build upon.

In my role, I pledge to work tirelessly alongside our President, Executive Committee, and fellow members to address the challenges and opportunities facing our business community. Together, we will strive to create an environment conducive to business growth, innovation, and prosperity.

I encourage all members to actively participate in chamber activities, share their valuable insights, and contribute to our collective success. Your engagement and support are crucial as we navigate through dynamic economic landscapes and strive to make Sukkur a hub of economic activity and development.

I also take this opportunity to express my gratitude to our dedicated Secretarial staff who have contributed to the chamber’s success. Your hard work and commitment are truly commendable.
